SDPEBA welcomes SDPOA Members!
Effective May 1, 2019, SDPOA has joined the SDPEBA partnership to provide their members access to the great benefits offered by SDPEBA. To read the announcement letter by Jack Schaeffer, SDPOA President, please click HERE.
We encourage you to subscribe to our eNewsletter to receive updates about benefits and what is new at SDPBEA. If you subscribe between now and June 30th you will be entered into our drawing for cash prizes. We are giving away over $1,000 dollars in gift cards between 5/27/19 and 6/30/19.

For FY20 Open Enrollment SDPOA members may select Sharp Health Plan through the City’s flex benefits online enrollment system.
For FY20 SDPOA Members can access the following benefits through payroll deductions:
- AFLAC (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital) – Only available during Open Enrollment
- *MetLife Dental (HMO/PPO) – Only available during Open Enrollment.
- *VSP Vision (Enhanced 2 Pair Plan) – Only available during Open Enrollment
*Currently these benefits are only available during open enrollment but are not able to be selected through the City’s flex benefits online enrollment system. You will need a manual enrollment form that can be obtained by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. These benefits will be deducted through a post-tax deduction. If you are choosing to take dental or vision through SDPEBA, please make sure you are not selecting a dental or vision plan through the flex system.
