What is SDPEBA

SDPEBA stands for the San Diego Public Employee Benefit Association and is a partnership between  AFSCME 127 (127), City of San Diego Retired Employees’ Association (REA), Retired Fire and Police Association (RFPA),  San Diego Municipal Employees Association (MEA), and the San Diego Police Officers Association (SDPOA).   The goal of SDPEBA is to to reduce costs, improve benefits, enhance support, and stabilize premiums.  This is evident in the great new AFLAC benefits being offered to active employees this year, which are better benefits and better pricing.

The SDPEBA team is the same great team that has administered various 127, MEA and SDPOA benefit plans, including Aflac and Sharp Health Plan, for the past ten years, and with this change to SDPEBA we have added more staff to make sure everyone is taken care of.  SDPEBA is here to help!
